Dapoer Kita
Restaurant in Dubai, UAE
About
Dapoer Kita, meaning “Our Kitchen” in Indonesian, is a cozy Indonesian restaurant in Dubai that opened on July 1, 2012. It started with Shinett Turalaky, who turned her cooking hobby into a fun adventure, blending flavors from her Menado and Bandung family roots.
Living in Dubai, far from Indonesia, she wanted to share homemade dishes that mix cultures but keep their true taste. With her husband’s support, she built a place for people to enjoy authentic Indonesian food.
In December 2017, Shinett moved back to Indonesia, passing the restaurant to a new owner, Eva Sabir. Now, the New Dapoer Kita continues the journey with even more exciting food to try.
It’s perfect for anyone who loves tasty meals or wants to explore Indonesian flavors from the islands. Kids and adults can check out the menu to find yummy dishes made with love.
Located in Dubai, this restaurant brings a little piece of Indonesia to every plate, making it a great spot for families and food fans.
